Forging Ring

What is “Forging”?

Most people don’t know what the meaning of “forging”, hence, we are here to explain a little to you. The word “Forging” refers to a generic term which describes metal working process by forming metal workpieces with high heat and pressure.

Forging is the process of shaping different material such as gold and/or platinum by applying high amount of direct pressure, to stretch and bend them.

Some facts that you may or may not know,

1. Forging process can create things that are harder than most other process, eg. casting etc.

2. Airplanes, automobiles, ships, engines and even missiles are also created by forging method.

3. Forging method has a history of over 6000 years and goes all the way back to as early as 4000 BC or earlier.

Forging, in Japan, is a very traditional technique handed down since ancient times. Stuff like Japanese swords, knives, certain cutleries, etc., are also made with forging method.

Since, lesser craftsmen are taking over forging techniques, things that are made using this specific method are becoming rare and aren’t commonly seen in accessories stores.

Smooth finish

Forging increases the density of the metal, resulting in a smoother finish with a heavier overall feel. The hardness of the surface is also higher, resulting in a stronger shine when polished. Also, when the surface is processed, the craftsman will carefully give it a light knock with a hammer to create different designs and outlooks. The end result is what makes the craftsmen proud and the owner of the rings happy and in love.

Many deemed the rings they’ve seen is simple looking, while others deemed the forging process to be simple. But seldom has ever thought of the fact that making with this method requires a high amount of patience as knocking, hammering, or even pulling requires a high amount of skills and some amount of timeframe. Let alone to talk about making of rings which is only a very small piece. You’ll need great eyesight and a pair of very sturdy hands as well. Every little mistake can cause the rings to be ruined and they’ll have to remake the rings.

Forging is a way to create a ring, for you to have the option to choose the materials such as yellow gold, white gold, pink gold, and platinum. We hope you can find a ring that is satisfactory for you both, comparing various aspects such as budget and comfort.

What are eternity rings?
Eternity ring acts as a reminders of cherished moments in a couple’s life together. They are a timeless symbol of love and commitment. It is a ring set with diamonds around the entire shank in a continuous line. Its never-ending arrangement symbolizes eternal love, making it a popular choice for wedding bands or suitable for anniversary rings.

Embrace the Aloha Spirit with a Hawaiian Ring

When you think of Hawaii, vivid images of sun-kissed beaches and the vibrant Aloha spirit instantly come to mind. These elements of Hawaiian culture and natural beauty can now be cherished in a unique way through a Hawaiian ring. A Hawaiian ring captures the essence of Hawaii and provides a lasting memento that you can carry with you wherever you go.

Hawaiian rings are not just pieces of jewelry, they are symbols of heritage, culture, and the natural beauty of the nature. Each ring is meticulously crafted to reflect the traditions of Hawaii.

Plumeria – Representing positivity, grace, and new beginnings, plumeria flowers are often featured in Hawaiian rings.

Princess – This design symbolizes happiness to the loved ones and love, and the design of leaves connecting waves filled with love and hope.

Heritage – Inherited from generation to next generation, Resurgence is a symbol of eternity.

Maile lei – A symbol of peace, respect, and honor, Maile leaves are traditionally used for significant ceremonies.

Hawaiian rings are crafted with great attention to detail, ensuring each piece is unique. There are 4 types of material available in the selection, platinum, K18 white gold, yellow gold, and pink gold. You may decide on one single tone of one material of your choice or two tones with a mixture of K18 gold with K18 gold or platinum. One of the most appealing aspects of Hawaiian rings is the ability to personalize them. You may choose the type of finishing and side cutting that you want after deciding on the hand carved designs.
