How to Measure Ring Size

For those who don’t know the size of the ring.
Easy measurement method that can be done with what you have at home,
I will teach you how to use the ring gauge correctly.

Method 1: Sticky Note

1. Things to prepare

  • Thin & Long paper (or a thick string), ruler, pen, tape. We recommend using a long and thin sticky note.

2. Wrap the paper around the thickest part of the finger you want to measure

  • The thickest part depends on the shape of your finger.

  • Fixing it with tape makes it easier to measure.

  • Wrap it around your finger and ensure it is fit

3. Mark the overlapping parts with a pen

  • It is more accurate to mark with a thin pen while making sure the paper fits your finger at the right tightness.

4. Measure the length between the marks.

  • Using a ruler, measure the circumference of your finger. Convert it to millimeters ( mm ) and round it up to the nearest decimal. Refer to the table below for your ring size.

Method 2: Ring’s Diameter

1. Things to prepare

  • Only two of them! Simple! Just a ring that you wear daily or any rings you already have with you and a regular ruler will do.

2. Measure the diameter.

  • Take a ruler and measure straight across the inside of the ring from edge to edge. And compare it with the “inside diameter” on the ring size table.
