K18 Yellow Gold with 0.22ct Diamond Necklace

This unique necklace definitely gives you a chunky yet elegant look when worn. It is chunky because Venus Tears design the chain to be thick yet maintain its elegance with the thin design of the pendant. Small round brilliant cut diamonds were placed alongside to outshine the gold.

K18 Yellow Gold 0.5ct Diamond Necklace

Back to Japan jewellery culture, thin chain was matched for this necklace so as to place all focus on its pendant. As you might have notice, the diamonds used are ascending from the top to the bottom and this kind of design will tend to appear slimmer when worn.

The round cut has been popular for more than a century, while princess cut offers a modern look. Princess cut is the second most popular diamond cut, which is next to round brilliant cut. The face-up shape is rectangle or square.

Moreover, the square princess cut diamond is usually cheaper than round brilliant cut of the same carat weight. This is because for a round brilliant cut will yield around 40% while a princess cut will yield up to 80%-90%.
