Little Mermaid

A unique material “shiny gold” is added into the Little Mermaid bridal collection along with “platinum” which represents “the cherished world above” & “beautiful underwater world”. This unique color also means the unique value shared between you and your partner.

Two gemstones is placed on the inside of the ring, “Aquamarine” in the wedding bands and “Peridot” in the engagement rings. This two gemstones together have the meaning of “wishes are imbued”.

Each gemstones have their own meaning :

“Peridot” signifies hope, peace and marital love. Just like Ariel who stayed true to herself, eventually got into a blessed and happily-ever-after marriage.

The translucent “Aquamarine” signifies serenity, happiness and everlasting youth. Also, this color tends to make one think of the sea. It is believed this gemstone possess calming powers which was worn as a talisman by the Greek and Romans in the past to ensure a safe and prosperous passage across stormy seas.

Now, let us get down to the looks of the rings.

“Secret of the sea”
This designs looks like the wave of the sea, it gives one the feel of gentle flowing water along with the two-toned material which resembles the sunlight shining down on the sea.

“Dreaming mermaid”
This wedding bands will resemble the glimmering effect of moonlight shining on the water surface at night. This two-toned material resembles moonlight shining on the gentle swaying water surface at night.
Whereas the crown of the engagement ring will look like the splash marks as Ariel dive into the sea from the surface.

“Dancing bubbles”
This designs resembles the sparking bubbles as you move the rings around the light, it’ll sparkle like the bubbles underwater. At the same time, the texture on the rings depicts the ripple of water.
The inside of the ring will also have the “bubble motif” which is inspired by water.

There are various fonts & types of engravings as well as shapes of characters available to choose from the different collections in VENUS TEARS. The two main types are laser engraving & hand-carved engraving.

Laser engraving features a clear & elaborate engraving because it uses a machine therefore even small letters are easy to read. Hand-carved engraving is manually & painstakingly carved into the ring by skilled & experienced craftsmen so no two rings will be the same.

The number of characters to be engraved may be limited depending on the type & thickness of the desired rings as well as the wearer’s finger size.

Re-polishing
Erase the small scratches on the ring’s surface by skilled craftsmen and giving it a shine again.

Re-making claws
In the unlikely event a strong impact damage the claws that hold the gem in place and cause
the loosening of your gemstone. We offer remaking the claw part so the claw can get
back the full support and prevent future hassle.

Fixing gemstone setting
We offer to fix the gemstone setting if gemstones such as melee diamonds on the ring became loose or came off.
